Pengelly Farm is ideally situated for a walking touring
base. The North Cornwall coast is only six miles with various coastal
walks around Polzeath and Daymer Bay being easily negotiated. Various
activities can be found including sailing, surfing, golf and riding.
Just 20-25 mins
away from Newquay Airport!
There are several National Trust properties conveniently
situated with Lanhydrock House being the nearest. The award winning
independently owned Pencarrow house is also within close proximity.
Padstow,(home of the famous Rick Stein Seafood Restaurant),
is 20 minutes drive away where you will also find a variety of pubs,
shops and good eating places. The charming
Elizabethan, Prideaux House and gardens are well
worth a visit. Port Isaac made famous by the television series Doc
Martin and The Fishermans Friends is also within
easy reach.

The nationally recognised Camel Trail with 17 miles
of traffic free walking and cycling passes through Wadebridge to
Padstow and In the other direction to Bodmin you can stop and pay
a visit to the award winning Camel Valley Vineyard.
