Approaching and Parking

There is a hard surface drive from the main road to the farmhouse. The area under and around the large tree is designated for guest parking but there are no marked bays. It is a level walk to the front door.

Entrance Hall

The front door opens into the entrance hall which is carpeted as are all the rooms and stairs. The first door to the right leads into the guest dining room. The door on the left leads into the guest lounge. The stairs are at the end of the hall. They are approx 3ft wide and there are three sets of 5 steps which turn at 90 degrees reaching to the upstairs landing. There is an original painted wooden banister rail.

The Landing

Leads to the double en-suite room on the left and the twin en-suite room being the second door on the right. There are no steps leading into either of the bedrooms. There is an original arched Georgian window and the sill is used to display guest information and other promotional material.

The Dining Room

Has a traditional dining suite in yew and hosts one large dining table. The breakfast cereals, fruit and coffee percolator are situated on the large sideboard. Guests can help themselves from this. A menu is provided and all hot dishes are cooked to order using as much local produce as possible. Yoghurts, grapefruit, tea and toast are all supplied to order from the kitchen.

The Lounge

Is situated across the hall from the dining room where there is colour television with DVD, CD and Video access. The comfortable seating is made up of two large sofas and one armchair.

Twin bedroom

Is approx 16ft by 14ft hosting two 3ft beds. The furniture is pine and consists of the bedside cabinets which are to the side of each bed. A dressing table, stool and wardrobe. The colour TV is situated on the wardrobe which is worked by remote control. There is a chaise lounge sofa to one side of the wardrobe and a table on the other which hosts the beverage tray. The door leads to the en-suite where there is a toilet, wash basin and walk in shower. The walls have floor to ceiling white ceramic tiles and the suite is also in white with gold effect accessories. There is shaving point over the washbasin and a slim line electric panel heater on the wall.

Double Bedroom

Is approx 16ft by 15ft and has one king size bed. The furniture in light oak and consists of two bedside cabinets either side the bed with table lamps. There is a large sideboard with drawers along one wall and above a large mirror framed also in light oak. There is a large wardrobe in the corner of the room and next to it is a table for the beverage tray. A comfortable sofa is situated in front of the window. The door leads to the en-suite which consists of the same as described for the twin room en-suite
